Shree Shree Mohanananda Cancer Hospital, Durgapur is the vision of Sri Sri Mohanananda Brahmachari Maharaj, reiterated in his last wish document. The hospital aims to serve all sections of the society with modern and ideal cancer care services. The foundation stone of the hospital was initially laid by Sri Sri Mohananada Brahmachari Maharaj in 1992.

Today Shree Shree Mohanananda Cancer hospital is the only dedicated cancer hospital in the district of Burdwan. It is strategically located in Bidhannagar, Durgapur beside major corporate hospitals and schools.
